What an exciting time!
You are gearing up to transition to high school!
Very soon you will start on a 4 year journey as the Class of 2028, and we're certain you will have an outstanding experience.
We have created this website to help make the transition from middle school to high school a little easier. Please know that we are here to help and do not be afraid to reach out to your school counselor.

Rising 9th Grade Transition Information
9th Grade Registration Information
Roberta Road Middle School 8th grade students will be assisted with choosing their 9th grade classes on March 25th, 2024. High School counselors from JM Robinson & West Cabarrus High School will come to RRMS to help register students and input their class selections in PowerSchool.
Prior to the high school counselors visiting RRMS each 8th grade student will receive a high school registration form to help parents & students choose classes.
There will be "New to School Family Nights" at each high school to allow an opportunity for new students and families to visit the school and meet the staff. Check back here regularly for updated information as it's made available!

Parents and students make sure to review the 8th Grade "To Do List" to ensure you are ready to begin 9th grade in the fall!
To Do List
Attend New To School Family Night for the high school you will attend.
Complete the high school registration form & return to homeroom teacher.
Register for 9th grade classes in PowerSchool on March 25th.
** 8th grade school counselor will provide the high school registration forms after spring break.
