Parent Book Study

All parents are invited to join “The Anxious Generation”, by Jonathan Haidt, book study.

All meetings will be hosted by RRMS school psychologist Melissa Mascari in the Media Center, from  6:30 - 7:30pm, following the schedule below:

Feb 9th : Introduction - Chapter 2 

Feb 23rd : Chapters 3-4

Mar 23rd: Chapters 5-7

Apr 13th: Chapters 8-9

Apr 27th: Chapters 10-11

May 11th: Chapter 12 and conclusion

- Attend one, some, or attend all;  no pressure if you cannot come to every book study meeting!  

- Discussion will be primarily based around the questions, "What can we as a group do about this information?" as well as "What can I as a parent do about this information?" 

- This will be a relaxed, judgment-free atmosphere, with the common goal of supporting our middle schoolers' social and emotional wellness, as it relates to screens and social media use.
